| Kesaobaka, my host brother, celebrating his birthday. Before this day, he had never truly celebrated his birthday. On this day, my host mother told me that I showed her how you can make someone feel truly special, even if you don't have much to give. This was the first time I knew the potential we have as Peace Corps Volunteers to give back in simple ways. |
